Lisa Tackie, BA

Researcher within the Erasmus Project "HELCI - Higher Education Learning Community for Inclusion"

Lisa Tackie is studying African Studies and International Development in the MA programme at the University of Vienna.  In 2021/2022 she was part of the  FWF(Austrian Science Fund)-project  ‘‘Concepts of Development in Postcolonial Kenyan Literature’ by Dr. Martina Kopf. In addition to her work as an active member of the racism-critical working group at the department of African Studies since 2021, Lisa is trainer for workshops on anti-racism and civil courage for organisations such as asylkoordination österreich, Disrupt or Schwarze Frauen Community. Currently she is finishing her master thesis in African Studies with the working title: Travel as form of resistance: How Black women in Austria use travel to resist patriarchal and racist structures.
